TWITTER WARS
After Kanye West’s release of “So Appalled” as one of his G.O.O.D Friday tracks, Jay Z’s verse ignited a flame in MC Hammer. His verse: And Hammer went broke so you know I'm more focused/ I lost 30 mil so I spent another 30/ Cause unlike Hammer 30 million can't hurt me," motivated MC Hammer to respond via Twitter; "@kanyewest jay-hoe aka #HellBoy Tell Jay Oct 31 (Devils Nite) We'll see if this record and video"Hurt's Him" .. #IamHammer.
Even though MC Hammer going broke has been a joke referenced to for years, why did he take such offense to Jay Z’s verse? Although Mr. Carter hasn’t even acknowledged MC Hammer’s disgruntles, chances are he won’t, does he even care? With millions of albums sold and a world wide following, why would he?
All we can do is wait for MC Hammer’s diss record on October 31. It will either be one of great humor, or insightful lyrical content. Let’s just say, we’ll be ready for some comedic relief on October 31.
