T.I. AND TINY ARRESTED IN LA FOR POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Newlyweds T.I. and Tameka “Tiny” Cottle were arrested last night for allegedly possessing a controlled substance. According to TMZ:

Law enforcement sources tell us L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over the multi-platinum selling rapper and his wife in a Maybach on Sunset Boulevard around 10:30PM. Deputies say they smelled marijuana, and after searching the vehicle they arrested T.I. and Tameka.

The couple just got married on July 30 in Miami, and T.I. — real name Clifford Harris Jr. — is on probation after doing seven months in prison on federal weapons charges.

We’re told T.I. and Tameka are in custody right now. Bail amount is $10,000.

As of this morning, the couple has been released on bail.

CB: Work, work and more work. I Just dropped a new street album with Dj Scream entitled “Grind Pays Off”. Been on the road and in the studio alot.

DEVINE MAGAZINE: A lot Of People Have Been Asking When You will be coming out With A New Single, Video, Album, So When Will That Be?

CB: I have a coupla songs that are getting hot in the club. “Look Like Money (Smell Like Dollas)” from my “I’m Here” street album and another single off of my most recent street album called “Meet My Momma.”

DEVINE MAGAZINE: How did you react when you so the massive love for your track “I LOOK GOOD”?

CB: Its a wonderful feeling. There are a lot of people, that have been in the game a long time, that haven’t had that big of a record, so I just feel very fortunate and honored that it did so well.

DEVINE MAGAZINE: When You First Heard your track on the Radio for the first time, How Did You Feel?

CB: Well initially when I heard it, it wasn’t much different than when I heard any of my other songs on the radio. But, when it got so popular and grew to a nationwide hit, it was really gratifying.

DEVINE MAGAZINE: How Do You Feel About The Rap Game, As It Stands Right This Moment?

CB: I like where the game is now, there are so many different styles of rap now. I feel that there is room for any artist to have success, as long as they stay consistent and work hard.

DEVINE MAGAZINE: We see that you have this 52 weeks of CHALIE BOY , what is the mission regarding that?

CB: The purpose is to put out a new song or remix out each week of the year… something for the streets, clubs or mixtapes, to show my fan base as it grows, that I have more to offer that just “I Look Good”.

DEVINE MAGAZINE: Who is your Dj? Give him a Shout out.

CB: First of all, I feel like I have thousands of DJs…any DJ that spins my music in the club, on the radio or on mixtapes is my DJ…As far as in house, my DJ is also my CEO of Dirty 3rd Records, DJ Bull…We’ve been in this game together for over 10 years.

DEVINE MAGAZINE: The Rap Game Is Always Changing, What Is It Going To Take For CHALIE BOY To Remain Relevant In This Day And Age?

CB: As long as the style of music changes, you gotta adapt and do whats relevant, but also stay true to yourself and how you create. As long as I do that, I’m confident that I can keep my fanbase and continue to expand.
